Petitions

Please submit all completed petitions to arsc@fullerton.edu.

Students can submit a petition to request for an exception to a standard policy. Retroactive Petitions are available two weeks after finals week.

Students who graduated from CSUF are not eligible to submit a retroactive petition. Current students not yet graduated from CSUF can submit retroactive petitions after the semester is officially over and up to a maximum 5-year period.

Payment will be charged to the student's account through their Student Homepage. Students have two weeks to pay the fee. 

Each petition is reviewed by appropriate campus authorities and can be either granted or denied. The review process can take up to 90 days, though efforts are made to expedite petitions for current graduation candidates. Students will receive written notification of the petition decision by email or mail.
